JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager – This is a key role within our clients business, taking ownership of the north of the UK tasked with proactively developing the public sector sales channel, targeting Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Social Housing Bodies to generate specification whilst working in partnership with key Main Contractors and Installers to ensure effective project tracking. 

  • Marketing a comprehensive Kitchen and Bathroom solution to Public Sector Clients 
  • Strategic account management and development of key Contractor partners 
  • Proactive new business development and identification of project specifications 
  • Work in partnership with the Contract and project management team in ensuring effective project delivery 

LOCATION: North – Covering the whole north of the UK, from Birmingham up to the Scottish Borders. The ideal candidate would be based between Manchester and Hull on the M62 Corridor – the territory includes; Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, Lancashire. 

CANDIDATE: We are seeking a high calibre field sales professional with experience in a contract sales environment, you will possess an abundance of hunger and drive with the ability to drive and develop new business. To be considered it is essential you have experience selling into the Public Sector, via Local Authorities, Housing Associations or Social Housing providers. In addition, previous exposure to selling Kitchen, Bathroom or related products would be significantly beneficial. 

PACKAGE: Excellent basic salary £30k - £40k + 20% Bonus + Car + Mobile + Laptop + Pension.

Internal Sales Office Job with National Distributor of Building Products

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client are seeking a driven field sales professional to join their specification team. You will market their full range of paints and decorating coatings targeting public and private sectors. Liaising with architects, housing associations, local authorities and NHS. The role incorporates offering technical advice and recommendations on site including surveys. 

LOCATION: Field based role covering the southern region including Hampshire, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Jersey, Guernsey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex. Candidates should ideally live around Reading, Oxford, Southampton but applicants can be based anywhere on patch. 

CANDIDATE: We are seeking a field sales professional with experience selling via specification with architects or local authorities. Ideally from the paints and coatings market but candidates within the building product sector that have sold via the above channels will also be considered. 

PACKAGE: On offer is a basic salary of up to £34,000 plus the ability to earn up to 50% of salary in bonus, Company car, Mobile, laptop, healthcare and pension.

The organisation have continued and accelerated growth within this key product line, serving cutting edge products specifically designed to enhance the quality of end products in the home, medical and specialist furniture markets, supplying major OEM Customers and National Retail Groups including John Lewis. 

Due to the continued growth of this segment, the company are seeking a high-calibre Sales leader to oversee, manage and spearhead this expansion. The candidate will inherit full sales revenue responsibility, implementing multi-discipline business strategies, with the ultimate objective of increasing the revenue and market share of the business unit amongst the companies key competitors. The Individual's success will be measured directly against increases in profitability, sales growth and market share. 

The essential criteria specifies that the candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in senior sales or commercial management, demonstrating exceptional business leadership abilities. You will have experience in managing intimate relationships with SME and small owner managed businesses.

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling a high volume, bulk commodity product into OEM or Own Brand channels, specific market knowledge is not required but experience of OEM markets would be extremely beneficial. Ideal backgrounds would include Automotive, Furniture, Electrical or any Component based product sold to OEM. 

This role would be well suited to an experienced individual with exceptional sales leadership expertise, seeking rewarding career progression in an exciting and expanding multi-national company. The successful candidate would be appropriately remunerated with an annual salary of between £60,000 and £85,000 per annum + Executive Benefits Package and Bonus.
