CLIENT: A major producer of building products, manufacturing and operating throughout the world and at the forefront of innovation, design and modern methods of construction. Manufacturing at two key UK Sites - they have enjoyed unprecedented growth in 2013 and are targeting significant further growth and innovation in the years to come. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: To manage and drive sales across the Northern Region through strategic implementation of added value strategies via Regional Sales Management team of 3 who manage a combined field sales team of 14 with a current northern region turnover in excess of £50 m. You will identify key areas of growth and development within high volume, high spend channels. The role holder will develop and lead the future northern strategy of the external Sales function to deliver business goals and targets, whilst ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are exceeded.

LOCATION: Field based management role covering the North of England and Scotland. Yorkshire, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, West Midlands.

CANDIDATE: Ambitious and career minded you will already be an accomplished Sales Leader and comfortable challenging the status quo. You will implement sales and commercial strategy across the business and deliver added value. You will thrive in such a fast moving, high volume and challenging market sector whilst delivering growth through existing and new accounts within Specification, Design and Build, Housing, Distribution and Merchanting.

PACKAGE: c£65k basic plus bonus, executive car, contributory pension scheme, private health etc.
